On May 16, 2006 we found out that I am pregnant.

Yesterday we went for an ultrasound to find out exactly how far along I am...

7 weeks and 1 day!!! Baby is due around January 12, 2007.

Even though I have been feeling pretty bad the last week it's totally worth it!! It's unbelievable that something this tiny can make me feel so yucky. My appetite has changed dramatically - going from eating CONSTANTLY to hardly wanting to eat at all....I can't stand the smell or taste of pork and corn anymore. How strange!

I am looking after myself, though...I make sure I eat small meals during the day and I go for walks everyday.

We are so very excited and so amazed that God has blessed us with the gift of a child. How lucky are we !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Introduction

Hi All:

This is my first time in the "Blogging" world.

I decided to start this because I have a few friends who blog regularly and it is a great way to see how your friends are doing, especially those who are far away. It's a nice way to include those family and friends who are away in your day-to-day life.

It has been a pretty chilly day and it rained a fair amount. Mark and I have spent the day on the couch watching television, reading and playing with the dogs. Even though it's been an unproductive day, it has been a nice day. Sometimes it is nice to relax and spend the day together doing nothing. Soon enough, these days will be a thing of the past.
