Well, here are a few pictures of me at 21 weeks. Well I will have to upload the pics later as it isn't letting me right now. I felt the little one kicking for the first time on the 23rd of August which was really cool. I was sitting in a big room with the entire education services group taking down the minutes and just when I was starting to get a little tired (it was a looong meeting) baby kicked me! Wake up Mom! haha.
I haven't been feeling baby on a regular basis yet but I now know that she/he is indeed in there and getting bigger by the day.
We went for the ultrasound when I was 19 weeks and that went well. We didn't get any pictures though because the little one was facing the wrong way and all the lady's attempts at getting baby to move didn't work. But we saw the little one who is adorable and very, very loved already. Time is going by so fast. Before we know it we will be holding the little darling in our arms and wondering if she/he will ever sleep through the night..haha :-)
Other than that we have been very busy the last while with painting and re-organizing the rooms and all sorts of stuff.
A girl that I went to highschool with, Liz, came over for dinner one night hmm..was it two weeks ago already?! She came with her husband, Justin, and their adorable son Hunter. It was really good to meet them and to see Liz again after 8 years! So glad we were able to visit with you guys!!!!!!
Work is going well for both of us. I really like where I am at right now and the different projects I am working on - it's a shame that I found this job when I can't stay in this position. In fact I have 5 weeks left and I am done! I have already been there for over a month - wow does time fly!!
Tomorrow my Mom and her boyfriend Joe, will be here for a visit from Vancouver. It has been nearly a year since I last saw her so it will be good to see her again and she is soooooooo excited about the baby. We will be spending Sunday/Monday with them and perhaps a dinner on Tuesday and then on Wednesday they are off to Rimbey to visit her cousin, Larry & his wife, Andrea and then she will be heading to Savona to visit her old friends and then they will be home again.
Anyway, we are off to our friend Ed& Ron's place to use their stuff to paint the base boards and then we will have dinner with Ed and perhaps watch a movie this evening.
Take care and God bless you!
