Well just to let everyone know - we are currently in Beautiful BRITISH COLUMBIA! I am so very glad to be here. We are here visiting my Mom n' Joe, my Ant & Unc.
We were picked up by my Mom's friend Linda and we went for breakfast and then we headed over to Naomi's place...a girl that I have known since I was like 3 or 4 years old. We hung out with her and her 4 kids and her bf for awhile. It was good to see her again - it's been a loong time and her kids are adorable. Her one daughter who is 6 years old did my make up and my hair ... turned out pretty good too...pink and blue eyeshadow. She even did Mark's makeup and he looked HOT!!! hehe.
We may try to get together again before we go but we'll have to see how things go here. We went from Naomi's place to my Mom n' Joe's place. I hadn't seen her apartment before and it's pretty nice and she was so proud to show us around and all that...my Mom is so cute!
Last night we went for dinner and did some grocery shopping and then their friend came over for a visit and then.....we spent a few hours in the emergency room because I had the worst gallbladder attack ever! They gave me some meds intraveniously (sp??) which didn't work and then I got morphine thru the IV and that worked wonderfully! I was instantly relaxed and felt no more pain. I was so out of it I apparently wasn't making a lot of sense when I spoke. Oh well - everyone seemed to get a kick out of it. I slept so well last night too. It was great. Can I have some more morphine please....haha.
Anyway, so I am now on an even stricter diet - like I wasn't already! But I had some hallibut that was cooked the right way and some salad and that set it off I guess so now I am just staying away from everything but water, tea, some fruits and vegies and maybe a piece of bread. Only two more weeks of this and then I will hopefully be okay again.
We were supposed to come back to Calgary on Sunday but have decided to extend our stay by a day...we're going to take the latest flight possible on Monday night instead. Now that we are here there is just too much to do and not enough time.
Anyway, I should gt back upstairs with the family so byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee for now!

Carrie, You do have to watch things or you are going to be in serious helth trouble.
The invitation still stands - morphine or not!! for the 13th. Assuming Mark can't make it. I can always be your brother-in-law from out of town!!
I hope that other than the excitement last night, your visit is relaxing, goodness knows that you both need it, and when you get a little nervous, then your problems will act up in a different way, SO BE CAREFUL please.

I am glad you and Marc came, had a good time, made your mother very happy, hope you can make it again soon, this time staying for a week so we can give you a tour of the fun spots.
