What a day! Spent the morning in the doctors' office with my Dad...spent the afternoon/evening in the emergency room with my Dad and Mark. Dad's heartbeat has been extremely high for the last few months and that is why he has been so incredibly tired etc. The doctors wouldn't let him leave the hospital until they got his heart rate into a somewhat 'normal' range for him. For awhile there they wanted to keep him overnight but he hates hospitals and wouldn't even consider it.
So, he is now on some medication to slow his heart rate down and it is working and he is thankfully already feeling better. He also has a holter monitor right now which he will be wearing for the next 48 hours and next year he will need to have a new pacemaker put in. WHEW!
Now the next month will be filled with appointments with the cardiologists, pacemaker clinics and just regular doctors appointments. But that's okay - as long as my Daddy feels better that's all that matters. I will probably not work in January and I guess it's a good thing since now he will need me to take him to the appointments. Please keep him in prayer over the next month as he deals with all these appointments etc. Thank you!

Geez Carrie,
What do you do for excitement around your place.
It seems to be in and out of hospitals for one reason or another.
