Saturday Afternoon

On Saturday I spent the afternoon with Ron at his shop working some pieces that are for a show room in a funeral home for the ends of quarter sections of caskets.

I hadn't ever done any sort of carpentry work before and I really enjoyed it. We didn't have to do too much though....it was MDF wood and I used the band saw to cut the corner off and then Ron would router the pieces and I would do the sanding.

Yep - I really enjoyed it and now am hoping that Ron and I can get started on a project that we'd talked about a long time ago...building Mark and I some nightstands for our room. That'll be so fun!!! I hope we can get started soon.
