Spaghetti and stuff

Today I made the biggest and yummiest pot of spaghetti ever! It took almost two hours to get all the ingredients together. Oh my goodness it was the best spaghetti ever! LOL.

I spent the day with Jenny today and we watched more Annie of Green Gables well mostly she watched as I was making spaghetti and then painting doors and ya we still got some visiting in between. She was pretty content to relax on the couch anyways and even fell asleep for a few hours as she was sooo tired. She has been around a lot lately and has become a good friend of ours.

Anyway, after I dropped her off I came home and finished getting dinner ready and then my adorable hubby arrived home and soon Ron arrived. Dad came up and we all had the yummy dinner and then I headed out back to paint the trim on the back of the house while the boys were inside measuring doorways and such for the transition strips.

After Ron left and I finished painting I got Mark to show me how to use the pressure washer (ooh so complicated...not!!) anyways he showed me and then I washed the lower deck which took like forever to do. Tomorrow I will do the top deck and the garage so that I can paint the trim on the garage.

Then hopefully this long weekend we can get this deck stained and that will be two big projects out of the way. Then we have to tackle the biggest project of all which is to take out the disgraceful walkway and put in a new one. Whew talk about hard work! BUT it's also fun. I love doing home reno stuff and Mark is teaching me lots which is cool.

Anyway, it's like 1230 and I should try to get back to sleep again.
