On Sunday we went with Ron out to the upper Kananaskis lake and spent the entire day/evening there. It was absolutely beautiful there. We had an amazing day.

We had a hot dog roast for lunch and then went ice fishing on the lake. The ice was three feet thick and Ron had the perfect set-up for fishing. He had a stand for the poles and a bell to put on the end of the rod so he would be alerted of any biting. We didn't catch anything though, but that's okay. it was still a new experience for us.

We went for a walk and took lots of pictures and then we relaxed for awhile...almost falling asleep in the nice sunshine. Mark and I were laying in the sled. It was nice!

After that we decided to go sledding as there was a fairly big hill. What fun that was! We were air borne a few times. Mark and I went a few times by ourselves, Ron went a few times and then the three of us went down together a bunch of times and that was the best!

After all that excitement we were hungry so we cooked some burgers. By that time it was getting dark and we put our two dogs in the car...Lucky because he was whining too much over the fire and Rocco because he was C O L D!! and then we kicked back and relaxed.

The stars came out and so we went down into the middle of the lake and gazed up at the stars ... it was so amazing.

All in all it was one of those perfect days mixed with fun and relaxation.
